NDIS Provider Perth

What Is the NDIS?

The NDIS provides funding directly to eligible Australians with disability, giving them choice and control over the supports they receive. It is publicly funded and not means-tested. You do not pay premiums or contribute to the cost.
Funding is allocated to the individual, with the participant, their guardian, or a plan manager purchasing services from registered providers.
The scheme is managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), an independent government body.

How Does It Work?

Getting started with the NDIS is a step-by-step process. Here is what to expect:

  1. Check your eligibility Confirm you meet the age, residency, and disability criteria. The NDIS website has a simple eligibility checker, or you can call 1800 800 110.

  2. Submit your access request Contact the NDIA to begin your application. You will need supporting information from a treating professional, such as a GP, psychologist, or specialist.

  3. Receive your plan If approved, the NDIA works with you to build a support plan based on your goals and needs. New plans created after October 2024 show a total budget amount, making it clear how much funding is available and how long it needs to last. National Disability Insurance Scheme

  4. Choose your providers You choose who delivers your supports. You are not locked in. If you want to work with Ultimate 24/7 Care, simply get in touch and we will take it from there.

Why Choose a Registered NDIS Provider?

Registered providers are audited against the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards. That means you can expect consistent quality, proper complaints processes, and staff who are trained and background-checked.

Unregistered providers may be cheaper, but they are not held to the same standards. If you are self-managed or plan-managed, you have a choice. If you are NDIA-managed, your funding can only be used with registered providers.

Ultimate 24/7 Care meets all NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, as well as relevant State and Commonwealth Government standards.
